WHAT THEY SAY... June 99, Marian Pilgrimage This section is intended to give an opportunity to pilgrims to share their reflection or experience of the Marian Pilgrimage of June99.
Dear Fr. Lim,
We'd like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts the opportunity you gave us to have a rare and wonderful experience on the Marian trip. Sam, Glo & Justine
Special thanks to you and Fr. Joe who worked so hard to make this trip to Europe a success! Nora
Dear Fr. Lim Thank you very much for leading the Marian Pilgrimage. It was very enlightening. People from different countries visiting to adore and pay homage to the Blessed Virgin as they joined the procession. Also faith to our Blessed Mother for those who came that were spiritually and physically handicapped that they may be healed and be granted their petitions. Also it was awesome to learn and see places where saints are from, especially St. Therese, St. Anthony de Padua, St. Ignatius of Loyola, St. Margaret etc. I usually prayed to those saints without really knowing their origin. Again thank you and God bless you for the future pilgrimages you will be leading. Emily
Dear Fr. Lim, The trip was well organized but quite very hectic. Before I go further I wish to extend my deep appreciation to Dorothy, our inseparable guide from the start to finish of our pilgrimage. She is an outstanding and superb tour manager. Her expertise helped us understand and appreciate the places we visited. Next time Father Lim make a little compromise between hectic schedule and a less hectic one. As senior citizens we found it difficult keeping up with the pace of the itinerary. We were always on the move and we had very little time to recharge our energy. Thank you very much Fr. Lim. We enjoyed our trip and we hope we will make it again someday. Frank
"It has been almost two weeks since we got back from the pilgrimage and I am still getting this feeling of being in awe. …Now I understand why some people go back a second or third time to the same places. What a beautiful way to experience God, the people, the places and the love of the Blessed Mother for all of us. And never were these feelings more heightened than during our daily Mass, my favorite part of everyday". Letty
Dear Father Lim, Letty and I got back the weekend before last, and it is just now that I am finally able to sit down and put my thoughts together. Overall, the pilgrimage was quite an experience. Being able to visit all those places and knowing more about the lives of the saints certainly made the trip well worth it. Here are a couple of suggestions:
a) Rotate seats on bus Danny
